Growth Streak ("we", "our", or "the app") is a productivity and habit-tracking application developed by Sami Khan from Sami Khan Fitness. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account.
User-Generated Content: Tasks, habits, habit logs, streaks, and any notes you create within the app.
App Preferences: Your notification settings and reminder time preferences, stored locally on your device.

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the app's core functionality (task tracking, habit tracking, streaks).
To sync your data across sessions so you don't lose progress.
To send you local push notifications (discipline reminders, task reminders) based on your settings.
To authenticate your identity and keep your data secure.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database service with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. This means only you can access your own data. Data is also cached locally on your device for offline access using encrypted local storage.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transfers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. Your data is used solely to provide the app's services to you.

The only third-party services we use are:

Google Sign-In: For authentication only.
Supabase: For secure cloud data storage.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as you maintain an active account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Profile > Settings > Delete Account). Upon deletion:

All your tasks, habits, and logs are permanently removed from our servers.
Your authentication record is deleted.
Local data on your device is cleared.

This action is irreversible.

7. Children's Privacy

Growth Streak is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Notifications

The app sends local push notifications (not server-based) to remind you about your habits and tasks. You can enable or disable notifications at any time from within the app's Settings. No notification data is sent to external servers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
